talking of france

Tuesday, June 27

The french football team is simply not french. There are only 3 true blooded frenchmen, viz, barthez, ribery, sagnol. I had this list on the countries of origin of the french players but I can't seem to find the beastly thing. Vieira and Henry are from Senegal. Gallas hails from Guadeloupe.
There are a couple each from Cameroon and Cote d'ivoire. The rest are all from various other countries. Zidane and Djorkaeff are from Algeria. Maybe they should call it the United States of Africa.
